Our favourite Christmas gifts for your fur babies

1. Licky Mats!
For the calming endorphins release all of us could do with at this time of year. Smoosh them with frozen yoghurt or mashed vegetables to keep pups occupied and avoid pancreatitis.

2. Slow Feeder/ Puzzle Toys

Christmas for people is often all about planning and eating food. Why should our fur babies be left to run the risk of boredom or eating the wrong food?

3. Toys for getting Active

We don't generally recommend balls or ball throwers, but toys that float for water play, or are unlikely to be chewed and swallowed are always a winner in our book.

4. Cool mats or cooling bandanas for summer time exercise recovery

5. Bath products.

Great for the summer itches or getting beach sand out of your fur baby's coat.

6. Gift Certificates for sessions
with us!
Choose a relaxing massage session or treadmill time for water play fun or fitness building in the hot weather.

Or if they already have a sleigh full of these types of gifts you could make them a tasty pet-safe Christmas Dinner of their own!

100 Sessions Strong: The Inspiring Stories of Zach and Yuki

This Christmas season, we’re celebrating two remarkable milestones with our superstar patients. These furry friends have each recently completed 100 aqua treadmill sessions—a testament to their enthusiasm and their owners' dedication.

Both were born on different continents and have had very different lives leading up to them starting rehabilitation with us at Active Pet Rehabilitation.

Zach’s joy for life and adventurous spirit saw his hind legs in trouble from an early age. First with OCD, then gopher hunting causing catastrophic cruciate disease.
Yuki was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at {18 months of age} and with her Arctic genes, she was always a determined distance hiker.

Zach recently celebrated his 14th Birthday, and Yuki will be 8 years old at the end of December.
