Autumn is already upon us the days are more pleasant, inspiring us all to run and play a little more, and the nights are finally cooling down.
Cooler nights bring drafts under the door, darker mornings and slower starts.
Our older pups start stiffening up, and slowing down in the evenings. The
combination of stiffness and joint pain from more exercise than we have done while hiding from the summer heat mean that this time of year can show up as more lameness and reduced exercise tolerance. |

It is a while since we first wrote about Taking the Ouch out of Arthritis (2016) and since there have been some interesting new therapeutics released over the last 12 months I thought it was time to look at this painful subject again. |

Now that things are slowly returning to normal following Covid lockdowns and social distancing has become the norm, some of our fur babies have never experienced the excitement of so many pets and people all in one

At 9.30am in the main ring we will be showing you some mobility exercises to do with your senior dog.
At 11am we will be doing a senior mobility competition in the main ring so our demonstration will show you how to do the exercises in the
competition

|
We will be running a senior mobility competition in the main ring at 11am. It will include Cavaletti, drop-stand, walk-over foam mattress, sit-stand, figure 8
exercise, and 3 leg standing. Come see us at our demonstration in the main ring at 9.30 am to see these exercises in practice. The prize will be a 4 pack Massage Package for your dog worth $220. Winners will be notified on the day. Enter online here or using the QR code.

Younger dog & puppy exercise demonstration

At approximately 12.30pm we will be doing a younger dog and puppy exercise demonstration.We will go through exercises that you can do with your young dog or
puppy.
